Well, we’ve now seen the official version of the pilot episode of Fringe. It was awesome! The title sequence is completely different, much cleaner, much cooler. There was a new fringe science added to the sequence, suspended animation. And, briefly, a phrase that appears after the second appearance of dark matter. It comes and goes so fast it is only in one frame. The phrase is “Observers are here.” Here is the screencap we caught:
Here’s a better screen cap we pulled off of the HD stream on Fox.com.

The proper music was used. Michael Giacchino is the composer for the soundtrack. He has also done soundtracks for LOST and Disney’s The Incredibles. There were a few new scenes. Not much, but I liked the additions a lot. I must say it was nice watching the show in high quality HD rather than grainy-I’m-not-supposed-to-be-watching-this quality. Lol! I give it a 10. Saawwweeeet!
The show next week will air at 8:00 Central Time, and an encore presentation of the pilot episode will air this coming Sunday, September 14th at 7:00 Central Time. If you are a Myspacer, they have an official Myspace page, www.myspace.com/fringeonfox. Go check it out. I’m about to become a friend of it myself. It looks splendiferous.
We are about to record our review of the pilot episode. It will be posted tomorrow. Check it out. Go to our forum. Tell us your thoughts.
Namaste!
