Unfortunately, my DVR messed up and only recorded the last 20 minutes of Fringe. I’ll pull some additional screen caps from the Fox site on Wednesday. Until then, here’s a screen cap of CBG (yes he was in the epi) and the clue for next weeks episode, The Dreamscape.
Update: I found the rest of the episode saved as a different file. Here is a gallery of screencaps. Let me know if you want a specific screen cap and I’ll try to get it.

Awesome episode! I’m thrilled that we are finally getting some true cliffhangers. I guess Walter seeing himself in the institution gives credence to the theory that he is William Bell. That “warden” of the institute really rubbed me the wrong way. Can’t wait to find out who’s trying to get him to keep Walter institutionalized. Also, that scene with Charlie where Olivia is hypnotized by the lights and he is magically standing there when she comes to? Granted they rescued the kid, but every week that goes by makes me think Charlie’s not one of the good guys. Can’t wait for next week’s episode and can’t wait for the podcast! Keep up the great work guys!
Most excellent episode..I’m no science girl.. but are there two Walter’s? And what was the whole apple thingy?
Dare I say it..this show is starting to get going now!
Hey Darrell and Courtney,
In case you hadn’t seen, Fringe and Lost are in the running for a TON of TV Guide awards.

Debsa,
I don’t believe there are two Walter’s. My speculation is either that being back in the institution he spent the past 17 years locked up in and probably went through some pretty brutal things that we have yet to find out about, has re-opened up that part of Walter’s brain and triggered effects of the same insanity level as he had reached after 17 years. I am sure that the second Walter is in the real Walter’s mind. An alternative explanation is that there was something else mixed in with the sedative they gave him that induced the hallucinations.
I also just set a voice clip of all my ideas about this episode to the feedback e-mail but your question just made me think of another. Does anyone else see the parallel between Walter # 2 and Hurley’s visions of Dave from Lost? It just popped into my head because Hurley hallucinates Dave, who he spent a lot of time with when he was institutionalized (though Dave didn’t actually exist). Similarly, Walter probably spent a lot of time with himself (a.k.a. Walter) when he was institutionalized (and Walter #2 also doesn’t actually exist outside of Walter #1’s mind).
The Shining is my frvtaioe book by Stephen King, and it's one of my frvtaioe movies as well. Those hedges are terrifying!
Wasn’t CBG in the airport in this one, going through the turn-style? Do you have that shot?
