Seems like Bell was pushing something, perhaps he pushed Olivia out of the Amber before it solidified… Walter said something to Astrid about how much compassion she had for him, considering what he did to Olivia. Maybe he was referring to something other than why she was not in the Amber…, but Depending on why they deliberately Ambered themselves, Bell pushing Olivia out may have signed her death warrant… Surely it was for a purpose though…

Even if we don’t get a season 5 they have the perfect setup for a great movie kind of like what Serenity was to Firefly.

You left out that “I am not a number, I am a free man” is from the 1967 series The Prisoner. Great reference.

BTW, I think they had all the whole missing brain plot because Walter is now turning evil! I am quite confident on this.

It was mentioned on the podcast that a look on ambered William Bell was that it looked as if he had Spock ears. It was explained that it had something to do with the lighting. Was it only me or did it look like Bell’s frozen state had his hand in a modified “Live Long and Prosper” pose? Also, was Leonard Nimoy actually involved in this or were they doing some kind of CGI type work? And what will be done with Bell’s hand? Those who watch Dr. Who will recall what happened with the hand the Doctor lost. Might there be a Bell clone in the fifth season (which appears more hopeful with every passing day)? Wouldn’t that be a kick to have Zachary Quinto play him?

This is just a thought on what Walter said about what Bell did to Olivia. Maybe he wasn’t refering to something that happened in the time frame of 2012-2015. Now that his brain is recovering, maybe he’s remembering what Bell might have done to Olivia as a child, the stuff he wanted to forget, Walter that is.
It will be interesting to find out if she’s dead or not. Also there was some question to whether or not this last episode took place in the red or blueverse. Most signs point to blue, but what about Fringe headquarters, looks like the redverse. Also there’s never been any sign of Amber in the blueverse, that’s a redverse thing, right? Who knows.

I had thought that maybe Bell (or alt Bell) had somehow exiled Olivia to the Redverse and she could not return. But there may be another possibility.

We know that any female Observers as scarce to nonexistent. We see an Observer trying to take a woman from her pimp (Rick) at the start of the episode. And the pimp objects because they have been taking so many women from him that he is running out.

What if some of these seized women are being sent to 2609? What if Bell figured out a way to prevent Olivia from dying that September overlooked? And what if that was to turn Olivia over to the Observers to be shipped to 2026? Olivia being exiled to 2609 fits into Walter’s disgust for what Belly did to Olivia.

This has the advantage that, if Olivia escapes or Etta/Peter rescue her, she can avoid being 20 years older. Also, Fringe can show us the year 2609 (Blue & Red) and blow our minds again.

Good point of view… there are many ways to see it. 🙂

No, Etta is wearing the bullet that killed her mom around her neck.
Remember last season in the future she gets shot.

No, she is told she must die. We don’t know in what mannor she must die or that she even does. That bullet was shown way to much, I think it’s supposed to be misleading.
