In this episode of The Fringe Podcast, we review the Fringe Season 4 episode, “A Short Story About Love.” A lot of questions were answered in this episode and the timeline vs. universe debate is now settled. We also learned quite a few more things about the beacon that we first saw in season 1.
We have a lengthy discussion about these answers and quite a few more things such as Nina’s point of view, Olivia’s death promise from September, David Robert Jones, and whether or not any of our other characters will begin remembering their past self. Of course, we also have quite a bit of dialog about the case of the week which once again gave us a new perspective on the lengths some people will go for love.

FYI… Michael Ausiello’s tvline.com rates Fringe’s chances of renewal as “a safe bet”. He usually knows what he’s talking about…

Thanks Jim. Just read that over. That’s good to read.
I gave it a thought and still will give it a thought.
There are ingredients of a good short story which we sense intuitively which are less tangible than those principles we can set down as ‘rules’ but ought to be picked up as we develop as writers. I should like to consider a few of them here. The following points are not in any way intended as ‘rules’, they are rather intended to highlight aspects of writing which affect the quality of the experience the reader has while reading our work.
