Since I’m a stickler for using the right Boston lingo. We don’t use the phrase “milkshake.”
We use the word Frappe. I’ve taken a passage from wikipedia on milkshakes.
“In some Commonwealth nations and some parts of New England and New York City in the United States, milkshakes are made without ice cream. In those areas, a milkshake made with ice cream is commonly called a frappe.”
I had to vote for Walter’s food fetishes. (There needs to be one more alternate universe where John Noble has an Emmy Award.)
Yup, I’m with Kenny. If it’s got ice cream, it’s a frappe. And where I’m from in MA, if it’s coffee ice cream, it’s called a “cabinet.”
Weird!
But it’s a small blunder by our dear writers and besides, if they used the right word, nobody would’ve known what the heck they were talking about!
Look forward to your next Podcast! (And Spring Training, right, Kenny?)
