I agree that the writers do a very good job with making us like all the versions of the characters. Even Walternate, now that he’s no longer evil!
Here’s my rebuttal to Clint:
DRJ doesn’t need to know who Peter necessarily just that the main players: Olivia, Walter, Nina, etal need to behave in certain ways to stabilize the current timeline. Think of making honey. You want a specific flavor so you grow and nuture specific flowers and trees to get it. DRJ is manipulating the bees without realizing there is a queen bee that controls the hive.
That said, I admit it is not as good a theory many of our fantastic community have contributed. And I don’t even buy it myself anymore.
