Loved the show this week. A fun thing about the song you picked to end the show this week: someone made a Peter Is A Secret Agent Man video a while ago on Youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mkgxdDisUxI&playnext=1&list=PL2E0F958EA063ECAD
Great choice of song.
It’s also entirely possible that the telephones were just a decoration. I doubt they were all plugged. And if the shapeshifters could communicate with the other universe by phone, why would they have the typewriter & mirror setup?
I think that if Olivia doesn’t get over it all and quickly make a move for Peter that he’s going to end up with Bolivia. I think Bolivia will be back sooner than later because she really did fall for Peter… and I bet they’ll have a kissy reunion. Nooooooo! Come on Olivia, go get your man.
You two always do a fantastic job…but I particularly loved this week’s podcast. Your insights and humor gave me a few different perspectives on the show.
This episode painted Peter in a very disturbing light. It seems that he accessed Faux-lovia’s computer before he turned over possible passwords. This would have happened before he “activated” the machine and visa versa, so no excuse is possible that he was acting in an under-handed fashion due to exposure to the machine, as Walter believes.
And why wouldn’t he let Olivia in on what he was finding on the “hip-chips”…..doesn’t he trust her intelligence and insight after all this time? His lies to her about why he didn’t want her reading Fauxlivia’s mission reports, are blatant and calculating….is he hiding something else? Is he really a double agent?
You both felt that the change in Peter in this episode was drastic. I felt that too…and it reminded me that I felt his change in “Over There” part 2. Up to that point he had felt betrayed by Walter and pretty much never wanted to speak to, or see him again. Then Olivia simply tells him, “You belong with me”….and he’s all of a sudden fine with everything. Very odd.
I hope he is not a double agent….Walter-nate doesn’t deserve his loyalty.
