Did you miss the pilot and don’t want to wait for the encore on Sunday? Head to www.fox.com/fringe to watch the pilot in HD. There are some other awesome videos in this section. One in particular is a behind-the-scenes look at how they created Agent Scott’s crystallized skin. It is called Scenemaker – Pilot. Very cool video.
There are some other special features on the Fox site. The middle section has the link to the official Myspace page, Imagine The Impossibilities, and a section called Walter’s Lab Notes. I’m totally digging on Walter’s Lab Notes! They provide a lot of interesting information, but they are still funny. The Golden Ratio makes another appearance. He mentions that maintaining this ratio of serotonin to lysergic acid diethylamide “must be preserved at all costs.” Not to mention that ratio appears in his favorite recipe for banana bread! Ha! Love it! As far as I can tell the notes are nothing more than a gateway to give us something more to learn and to let us see inside the mind of Walter Bishop a little more.
