UPDATE: We are now officially nominated for a Parsec award! They’ve sent us an email asking to stop submitting nominations! You guys are awesome!! Thank You!! We’ll keep you posted if we hear anything else.

It’s time for the 2012 Parsec Awards nominations! In case you aren’t familiar with the Parsec Awards, Mur Lafferty, Michael R. Mennenga & Tracy Hickman founded The Parsec Awards in 2006 to celebrate Speculative Fiction Podcasting, under the banner of Farpoint Media. Podcast shows are nominated by fans, and finalists are chosen by a yearly steering committee. Those finalists are then voted on by an independent panel of judges from outside of podcasting. Awards are given in several categories ranging from content to audio quality.

Parsec Awards are given for 17 different categories, and The Fringe Podcast is eligible for the Best Sepeculative Fan or News Podcast (Specific) category. You can find more information about this and all other categories here.

If you think that The Fringe Podcast is worthy of a Parsec Award, you can nominate us by going to the nomination page of the Parsec Awards website. NOTE: Here is the EXACT info you will need to know to nomite The Fringe Podcast.
