  1. I thought it was funny that they didn’t know Batman but knew Mantis. Mantis was a superhero show in Fox’s early days. It was a decent show that wasn’t given a chance.

  2. Love the fact that you called fringe “our show” ! :)

  3. Finished up listening to the podcast this morning. Excellent! I loved this episode of Fringe too. One of my favs this season (well, except for alt-Lincoln dying). Keep up the good podcasting.

  4. You know I am starting to think we shloud have taken some time to say WHY we likened it to “Inception” lol . It really wasn’t the premise AT ALL, which as you state is a common trope (also one I love to see explored I think I am one of the five people who absolutely loves “Waking Life”). The reason it felt particularly like “Inception” was literally the shot design of the entry into the dreamscape (also loved that one when I was a kid). It was very similar to “Inception” and when they went into the idea of the subconscious attacking the “invaders” and Olivia herself visa vie a group of frightening automatons well, that REALLY looked like “Inception.” Anyway, it’s obviously fine to disagree as I said there were aspects of the show I really liked and we we both still absolutely love Fringe I pimp that show constantly! Thanks!Roth
